1. Pumpkin Carving and Painting
Pumpkin carving and painting is a necessity!
I’m sure it’s something we have all been doing since we were young, but the experience is elevated when shared with a partner.
However, as you delve into the realm of pumpkin artistry, you’re not only creating fantastic seasonal decor but also crafting lasting memories together.
Share your designs, tell stories of your favorite memories, and consequently discover new facets of each other as you dig into the pumpkins and let your imaginations run wild.
2. Iceskating
When the brisk winds of the new season start blowing, it’s time to hit the ice!
Iceskating is a perfect choice for a date where conversations flow effortlessly however at times can take a backseat to pure laughter and carefree enjoyment.
The opening of skating rinks are at the arrival of fall and offer a chance to twirl and whirl together under the open sky. A shared tumble or a hand held out for balance can lead to candid moments of connection that words alone could never capture.
3. Visit the Local Winery
If you enjoy a drink, find your local wineries!
A wine tour can allow for a relaxed environment to chat with one another whilst touring the venue, learning about wine, and tasting it too!

6. Drive in Movies
As the sun begins to set earlier, this season is the perfect time to catch a drive in movie in your city! It is a great way to get out of the house, but also spend time one on one.
Although they are hard to find, a simple google search should lead you to the local drive in movie spots!
7. Halloween/Fall Themed Movie Marathon
Fall inspired movies are always my favorite to watch on a lazy Sunday. If you and your partner are interested in doing something to pass time at home, why not start up a movie marathon?
From the heartwarming tales of Halloweentown to the whimsical adventures of Hocus Pocus, these films are a gateway to shared nostalgia and countless cuddles.
8. Haunted Houses
Although this one may not be for everyone, it had to be mentioned!
Haunted houses are another activity that is here and gone in a blink of an eye! It is fairly simple to search on google all of the haunted houses near you. These are perfect date ideas and make for even better double dates!
9. Fall Hike
If you both love the outdoors, fall can be a perfect time to explore your area through hikes. As the heat cools down and nature begins to change colors, hikes are almost always beautiful and romantic settings for a relaxed date.
Find a new route, or one you are familiar with, and get to hiking with your partner. A date like this can allow for some much needed quality time and exploring.
Although hikes can be a great time, it is always important to be aware of your surroundings and take precautions when exploring new areas!
10. Attend a Football Game
With fall comes the football season!
If you and your partner are avid sports fans, check your local college or professional teams schedule and get some tickets. Football games can make for an incredibly entertaining date however, they are only here in the fall and winter so get on that now!

However, if caramel apples aren’t your favorite, consider finding a pumpkin pie or apple fritters recipe online! Sometimes baking a sweet treat is perfect for getting you in the fall season spirit!
14. Lastly… Go to a Fall Carnival!
Before you know it, your town’s annual fall fair is here and gone!
Fall fairs occur once a year and could be just around the corner from you! Google the fall carnival’s for your state and check one or two out before the end of fall.
