Why is organizing your kitchen helpful?
Organizing your kitchen can make cooking, cleaning, and simply having guests over much more pleasant. Keeping things in a designated area that is easy to refill, find, keep clean is incredibly efficient. Keeping your kitchen organized allows for a cleaner space and quicker cooking times.
Organized kitchens have a different aesthetic to them and I am sure if you are reading this, you are looking to achieve it just as I am! Some of the items at the grocery store come in containers that are difficult to manage. While cooking in general can be messy, some of the containers I use from the store just were not making it easy to keep a clean space. Personally, when I went to use my flour or sugar I end up getting it everywhere.
Organizing these items in different storage has been helpful in achieving the organized kitchen look as well as keeping things tidy.
1. Organizing Produce
Keeping your produce fresh and clean is a pro to organizing our kitchens!
Finding the correct jars for specific produce, washing produce, and storing it in the fridge has been a huge trend. For example, produce like potatoes or carrots do great in fresh water in an airtight container. Where as strawberries could do with a wash then stored in a container. Some produce may need a small paper towel.
When buying produce, research the best ways to store it to prolong their refrigerator life. From there, you can organize the produce using different fridge containers like the one shown below.
I use these organizers to separate my produce from my cheeses, my drinks, and more. They bring such a clean and organized look to your fridge and are super popular right now! If you are on the same side of Tik Tok and Pinterest as I am, I am sure you have seen plenty of videos and pictures of these. It feels just as good to organize your produce yourself as it does to watch someone else!

2. Seasonings
Although it may not be necessary to many, I love putting my seasonings in these containers for a more organized, clean look.
Whenever I would run low on a seasoning I would run to the store and purchase another one. Although I am sure many of us do the same thing, it can get cluttered. For one seasoning container to not be finished and another one already filling up space it was hard to keep track of everything. There is no longer any need for multiple containers of the same seasoning as these containers are very easy to fill up when they are running low.
I currently own the bamboo glass ones from Amazon and they have held up so well and are such a pleasing addition to my kitchen!
3. Dry Food Storage
One thing that has enhanced the appearance of my pantry has been small jars and storage containers for my pasta, flour, cookies, and more. More often than not the original packaging for flour, sugar, ground coffee, and more ends up leaving a mess in my pantry. They are hard to seal correctly and often just leave residue and crumbs everywhere. The following containers can allow for food to be sealed much more efficiently and can even be cleaner at times!
Lastly, I love using this duo set for my pantry. I specifically use this for my rice, sugars, and flour. However, you could use it for organizing almost anything. I’ve seen people use these for their bar carts or coffee beans and more. They are so useful and aesthetically pleasing when it comes to organizing.
These storage containers for your dry storage will absolutely making organizing more appealing. They often look much better than the original containers and leave less mess as well.

4. Finally, Organizing Clutter
It can be incredibly easy for pans, silverware, and under the sink to get cluttered. There can be simple strategies to keeping things organized though. I tend to organize my kitchen in areas of convince. For example, my pots and pans are across from my oven and I stack them all on an organizer like this one:
This is great not only for keeping cabinets looking organized and clean, but because it makes it so much easier to find the pot and pans. It is easy for pots and pans to become a cluttered, disorganized mess at times so this has been a life saver for me!
Finally, this under the sink organizer is great to keep track of any cleaning supplies or baggies. It keeps under the sink organized and clean so everything is easy to find!
