Fall is here! Yay!

One of my favorite things about summer ending, is the decorations associated with the fall and winter! While many of us love to decorate, the task can be tedious. Switching out summer decor and finding the creativity within us to replace them with fall items can be daunting.

However, I have written up some cute ideas and finds to make the task less overwhelming for you. It can be hard figuring out where to start or what colors to consider, so let’s get right into it!

Fall is the perfect time to bring in your creams, oranges, and even the vibrant fall colors through statement pieces. I have decorated my entire apartment in creams and browns, but love the occasional pop of color for fall.

This blog post focuses on the small details that will make a difference in the decor around your apartment this fall.

Target’s Fall Section!

Target is one of my favorite places for accessorizing my apartment. Not only that, but some of my favorite finds from Target have been my blankets and pillows.

However for this fall, I plan to add a pop of color to my cream and beige apartment using warm toned blankets and pillows from the one and only – Target!

I don’t know about y’all, but stepping into Target during Fall all the way until Winter is so tempting! They have the cutest seasonal finds and it can be hard not to purchase everything. With that said, Target has some quality finds. This may be my first apartment, but I know my Target finds will last me until wherever I land next.

Here are some items I found on Target that I plan on purchasing this season:

Fall Blankets

I already have this blanket in white, but I think this gray is the perfect color for the upcoming seasons. This dark gray is a perfect cool tone for the fall and can be kept around for the winter too.

The blanket it is a simple heavyweight blanket that keeps you cozy whenever used and is cute decor whenever it is not in use. It is one of my favorite blankets and I would continue to recommend it to others.

However, if you like chunkier blankets and prefer a warmer tone, this blanket is perfect! I love this color and if paired with some of the upcoming pillows linked, it would make for some super cute fall decor!

Blanket Storage

I love to keep baskets for my blankets in my bedroom and living room. I even use these baskets for the towels in my bathroom.

I think having blankets thrown over the edge of my bed or sofa is also cute, especially when there is a little added color. As you can see pictured below, I keep these woven storage baskets for storage AND decor! Just as I like to have blankets decoratively thrown over my bed and sofa, I think it is a nice look to see some colorful blankets draped over the side of a basket as well.

Decor Pillows

Decor pillows can easily tie the knot in all of the fall home decor thus far.

Linked below are pictured decorative seasonal pillows Target sells that I am in love with! These are cute pillows that you can bring in annually once you notice the leaves start to fall!

However, blatant fall decor may not be everyones preference. If pumpkin themed decorative pillows are not usually your favorite, these are some more that I have in my cart.

Personally, I like decorative items such as the ones linked below as if you want to keep them out past fall, you can do so! They fit the fall season well, but also add a nice touch year round.

Lastly, Amazon.

Amazon and Target are my favorite stores to consider for home decor, but I love how quickly Amazon delivers when I am feeling inspired to redo my apartment.

Wreaths & Door Decor

Many of us decorate our doors once the fall approaches. However, since this is my first fall season in my first apartment, here are some of the decorative items I am ordering for my place linked in the pictures below.

I have always found seasonal door signs and door mats so cute, and these are the ones I likely will consider or order in the next few days for my own apartment!

Seasonal door decor can create such a welcoming vibe to your apartment before even entering. I always love driving past people’s home decor, which is why I felt inspired to add some ideas to this post.

Artificial Plants

Artificial plants are another way of bringing fall into your apartment.

I love the look of plants as not only do the match the leaves falling outside, but they bring a simple and elegant fall look to your apartment. Artificial plants can last much longer than regular plants which allows you to switch them out every year once fall comes around. Not only that, but they require just about no maintenance. This is great for those of you who aren’t the best at keeping live plants alive.

Small Decorative Table Pieces

Lastly, Amazon is great for little knick knacks you can use to elevate your apartment. I love the ones linked in the below images as they still are simple and can be added to your counter tops or shelves to fill in space. Regardless of where you choose to add them, they are such cute finds!
