All About My Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
I absolutely love to have a sweet after every meal and I always find myself craving chocolate chip cookies! Finding a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I liked was hard. With that said, I also struggled with perfecting recipes to get the cookies to my desired taste. My chocolate chip cookie recipe has been incredibly simple for me and absolutely delicious!

Necessary Materials
When mixing my batter ingredients shown below, I like to use just a simple bowl and mixing spoon. I like the set linked below as it includes simple baking necessities and covers for the mixing bowls!
I also recommend having parchment paper and baking sheet pans!
Dry Mix Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of softened (not melted) butter
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- Mini Chocolate Chips
Wet Mix Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- Teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
- Teaspoon of baking soda
- Teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- First, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- Secondly, mix your butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a mixing bowl.
- Mix these ingredients together until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, start with cracking one egg before adding vanilla extract, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix these ingredients together until smooth.
- Next, mix both bowls of ingredients together until smooth.
- Add a generous amount of mini chocolate chips.
- Scoop into 2 and a half inch balls on a non-stick baking sheet! I like to use parchment paper on top of my pan.
- Finally, put these cookies in the oven for 8-10 minutes and let them rest. (They will look a little less than browned on the top and maybe still a little gooey on the middle. However, after resting, the middle will finish cooking through!)

Thank you!
